started in 2001 and we’ve
grown
thanks to our guests, thanks to
their advice,
their
suggestions and their
criticisms.
The appreciation shown by our clients, the
numerous
reviews on various on-line portals dedicated to tourism,
like
Tripadvisor,
Venere,
Fodor’s,
Frommers and others,
have urged us to continuously
improve our service.
Some guests have become friends, and we got to know entire
families who visited us – first the parents, then
their children on honeymoons, then the children of their
children…Many guests exchange emails with us during
the year to find out how things are going, or just to say
hello, while others send postcards, small gifts, photos…
Our
idea of work is based on a spontaneous encounter.
Besides offering clients all the information necessary
to permit them an excellent Fiorentine experience,
(maps, museums, restaurants, small and intimate places
only know to Florentines), we try to help them become
independent so that they become the main focus of their
vacation, striving to encourage personal initiative
geared towards discovering Florence and its surroundings.
Every guest has the keys to the building
in which they are staying because we are convinced that
they must feel at home. We try to be available
for most of the day, even when our work load is intense,
and in addition to our own work, we also have philosophical
and literary committments – we write and partecipate
in conferences and cultural events. We’ve had long
conversations with guests involved in the
same fields of study and new and interesting ideas have
been brought forth. For this reason too, we rely on the
valuable collaboration of Camilla, who
with grace and efficiency has been working with us since
2007, taking care of every aspect relating to the daily
care of our guests.
We believe in our work and do everything so that
the people sleeping in our rooms remember us and our city
with happy nostalgia.
